Young kids can be impulsive and act a little out of control. Is it just age related or is it more out of the ordinary? The key may lie in the level of danger or harm being caused. If it is something such as running into the street, this is a dangerous action that needs immediate attention. Self control is a learned skill set and will be developed over time. A good gauge to see what is age related or something else is to see how your child acts around their peers on the playground.
